What To Expect
Nature Links Summer Series offers engaging classes on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays every week from June 23 to September 5, 2025. There are two classes each day, starting at 9:00 am ET and 10:00 am ET, each lasting one hour.
The topics focus on environmental awareness, independent living skills, and community connection. Through interactive classes that foster curiosity and confidence, learners will explore the vital intersection of nature, technology, food, and advocacy.
Discovery at the Intersection of Technology and Nature, from Wildlife to Wifi.
From deforestation tracking to AI-powered conservation tools, this series examines how emerging technologies are used to protect the planet. Each week, learners will investigate real-world case studies, explore the ethics of innovation, and consider their own role in environmental stewardship.
Book Club and Animal Study
Through our group reading of The Hidden Life of Trees, we’ll explore the science and social life of forests—how trees communicate, collaborate, and adapt.
Complemented by weekly animal spotlights, this series highlights species critical to global ecosystems and invites thoughtful discussion on conservation and interdependence.
Forest to Fork: The Purpose of Cooking Local.
Grounded in nutrition, sustainability, and self-expression, this culinary series invites learners to explore seasonal ingredients, foraging basics, and hands-on cooking. Each participant will lead a session, planning, preparing, and presenting a recipe that reflects their unique perspective and skills.
