Exploring the 5 senses

We’re thrilled to announce that Nature Links has started an exciting new class series with devotional artist Kirsten Rickert. This series invites participants to deepen their connection to the natural world by engaging their five senses. Through a hands-on approach, students will explore the textures, scents, and visuals of nature while creating beautiful nature mandalas.

Kirsten has thoughtfully curated packages for each student, filled with natural treasures like acorn tops, soft-shell clam shells, and spruce cones. Participants will also gather their own materials—flower petals, rocks, leaves, or other objects that inspire them—to weave into their mandalas. Along the way, we’ll delve into discussions about our relationship to plants and how plants serve as medicine in our lives.

The series, which will be held online and run through October, promises to be a creative and meditative journey into the natural world. We look forward to seeing the beautiful creations and reflections from our students!
