Reigning Hope Ranch

Last week, Nature Links participants were so lucky to have been joined by Jenna Baillargeon. Jenna is the founder of Reigning Hope Ranch, an equine-assisted therapy center in Orrington, Maine that uses horses to provide healing for children and adults who have experienced trauma. Just under two years ago, Jenna left her career as a nurse to pursue her dream of running the ranch. In just a year after officially opening, Reigning Hope Ranch has acquired six therapy horses and two ponies who help create a safe, healing environment for those overcoming mental or physical trauma. Jenna’s goal is to provide equine-assisted therapy services to those who need help, regardless of financial status, and hopes to partner with veterans, local schools, and people battling Alzheimer’s.

We had the opportunity to meet Jenna as she toured the ranch, introducing us to the beautiful horses along the way and sharing her incredible and inspiring story. Check out a few of the highlights in the video below…
